Dwarikesh Sugar Industries on Monday said it has signed agreements with Uttar Pradesh Power Corp to supply over 44 mw electricity to the state grid for 20 years from its two biomass-based plants.
The two plants at Bareilly and Bijnore were set up at a cost of about Rs 225 crore and have also been registered with United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to avail carbon credits under the carbon development mechanism.
